Brought up all in once-used barrels, the 2017 Pinot Noir Presqu’ile Vineyard is another winner from this team. Ripe red currants, passion fruits, ground herbs, earth, and spicy notes all give way to a ripe, rounded, yet beautifully pure, elegant effort that has rocking complexity and fine, integrated tannins. Very much in the style of this fresher, more focused vintage, this is a rocking little wine.

The 2017 Pinot Noir Presqu’ile Vineyard is not only a gorgeous wine, but it also shows what this vineyard is capable of in terms of texture, body and overall class. Succulent red cherry and plum fruit is pushed forward, with hints of spice, leather and dried flowers that develop in the glass. The 2017 is simply stellar. That's all there is to it.

The 2017 Pinot Noir Santa Maria Valley has a pale to medium ruby color and opens with gravel dust, violet, Earl Grey tea, orange oil, autumn leaves and earth with dried red cherries, dried cranberry, red licorice and wild blackberries. The palate is light to medium-bodied with concentrated, nuanced fruits, grainy tannins and very juicy acidity, finishing long and layered.
